Thanks, and I just want to say...his cloak is actually a grey/blue almost like ...shadow grey.. NOT like it looks (Ice blue and all) no no no...just can't seem to get a good photo without a flash on and his helm has gold highlights that are not picked up as well :(

For being rushed they look very well.... That is some nice painting , it would take me more hours to do that and it would look less great .. :)

Cyndra, good work on the ranges..and yes that is all my work for Dec. Was very busy and little time for gaming much less painting...sucks. BUT Jan seems to be allowing more time for paintings so....

Here is my entries:
IG x6 (that white shiny blur, upper middle, is a IG that hasn't been primed yet)
Attachment:
JanWIP Challenge (2).JPG

KG x13 (the Dwarven King and the other primed fig at the very top are not included)
Attachment:
JanWIP Challenge (4).JPG

I figure I can knock these guys out in January and then begin the loooooong painful process of doing the batch painting of the DW (has to be like 75+ of em) ...ya know...if there were some others interested we could do a online Iron Man painting contest. Some principle, but with a set point amount/figure tally and complete em within 24hrs. Take updated photos every 5-6hrs. and yes  ...it seems I do need a village to paint... LoL  just so long as I'm not the village idiot :P

Good luck with all those KG 8)

Here is my entry for this month:

Eomer- 75pts

Elf Warrior- 11pts
Shield

Total- 86pts

The elf won't be getting the highlighting treatment purely so he fits with the rest of them, but Eomer will be getting the works:

What about the rest of you guys?

I've recently started painting my Gondor army and this sounds like exactly the thing I need to keep me going so I'll join in next month if I'm allowed :)

I see no reason that you shouldn't be allowed in and since Corsair and Joansean haven't been active with this thread lately we have to take it into our own hands. Welcome aboard!

Isn't imitation the best form of flattery? We were inspired by this and wanted something similar.

Good point BD. I was merely meaning that now we have some competition so we have some more motivation. Sorry if it sounded like I was accusing you guys of stealing.

I never saw it as an accusation of stealing. :)

Why the heck not! But we will have a lot of guys in February :-D

Maybe I should PM Corsair to see if he wants to keep running this thing.

I have James added on msn (though I never use it) so I can have a word with him about it on your behalf if you want?
