Nice touch with the arrows stuck in the chest. I think I shall have to steal that idea. Thanks very much!

Thanks!

@Garmenhord, my WIP thread seems to have duplicated and there is a double of nearly every page for some reason. (probs because of site change) That may be why you seemed to go on an older page....don't for sure....

Anyway, thanks, glad you like my saruman! :D

Great painting on the uruks samoht! They look very realistic and the blood-stained swords and helmets look fantastic. How did you paint the blood stains? I'd like to have something like that on my orcs and uruks when I get around to painting some.

Thanks!
The blood stains is a mixture of red and brown ink. You can decide how dark it is depending on how much you put in of each ink. I usually, have about less than a third of the mix being brown ink and the majority of it being red ink. You can have a play around to see what you like better. remember, if its too dark/brown, just add more red and if its too red you can add more brown. Just experiment. Pretty simple to do.
Hope that helps. :)

Thanks samoht, that helps a great deal. So simple yet I had no idea it gave such a nice result. Cheers!

I have finally finished sculpting Buhrdur!!!!!

I will hopefully have him painted for the February paint challenge.

I have given him a sword just like the GW model, but have also given him some Spiked balls on ropes for him to swing at the enemy.

That's an amazing model and yes do what BD says (but give us a discount because we suggested it :P)
The morning stars are a nice touch and it gives home a more brutal feel. My only complaint is that you should paint more dunland suff!!

Not bad at all that. You should be quite proud. Takes me back to when I was first sculpting stuff to a reasonable standard, with shouts of 'Cast it! Cast it!'
The only negative I have is that the putty is contaminated with dried yellow bits. Probably from your mat when you were mixing the putty up?
