1999 at Mary and Dennis's Home

2000 Warfair with the new base I added
Mary also built the Wall in the background

The thumb nails were taken in my game room. The hollow tree I made from insulation pipe. I need to do some more.

That's a nice tree fort. Do you know her?

Sorry I see you do. It's nice and the new base was a big improvement.

Mary and her husband Dennis are two of my best friends. Mary had my wedding in her garden. I don't get to see them as much. They live in Kentucky now. I have been uploading photo disk to my hard drive. I am up to 2001. Floppies are slow and there is a lot to edit. I think I am going to make Gollums lake like the tree base. I had forgotten I even did it. Mike Mills owns the tree now.

I made these back in 1999 for the Jungle Fighters in 40K games. They stored well.

The insulation is available in different sizes. Paint it black and dry brush it. Some of the mushrooms are butter beans. The holly trees were made from pine combs after the squirrels were finished eating them. I used pink foam for the bases.I skip basing pink foam when I make terrain for tournaments to save time. I made the pine comb Holly trees two years ago and used CD bases.

I found one more good tree trunk while I was doing yard work. The honeysuckle vines seem to look the best.

Thanks :!: I think smaller insulation pipe would make good hollow trees for LOTR :!:

Thanks. I hope it gives people confidence to make their own. They are simple to make. You just have to keep an eye out for good material.

They may end up too cartoonish for LOTR but I will use them with the cave sections for Pulp Fiction Games

Ah top notch work yet again Willow, things are looking good here. The tree's look fantastic with their natural trunks, wouldn't mind giving them a go. That mushroom seems to have a cheeky grin, or is that just me. That Gandlaf model looks great, is that the oop one? By the way I love the tree fort, what would be even more cool was if you had made it on a living tree like those mini bonsi tree's... . then you'd need to give it a hair cut every so often.

storm damage

Fred has started a wood eff army so he wants to make some tree houses. I am going to look for some more suitable branches. These may end up as Malifaux swamp trees.I have some to cut up after the storm. I still don't have a good party tree.
