How many The lord of the Rings miniatures do you own?

Let me put it this way: I have 3 balrogs... and from that starting point, you get the general idea of the madness. I posted pics a few years ago...but I cannot recall the title or find it on the site/forums now.

I noticed a statistical anomaly in the sudden appearance of 5 more people with more than 3,000 LOTR figures. However, as I review the shear number of Mini fig,Heritage and 80,s GW in this recent estate I think you should add a 10,000 category.

PS and thats counting everything as a "1".
When you think about time to paint some of the larger monsters and seige engines etc, in painting time, they count more probably...

Just updated my collection spreadsheet..

I have 560 LotR miniatures, of which 212 are painted.

Do you guys have a lot still on sprue ? Because I got 7 boxes which are opend, but still have the minis on sprue, and about 6 very-wanted hero blisters that aren't even taken out. I always wait (and wait and wait) for some funds to buy them and then realise there's still hundreds of others to paint and base. So I open the new box, take a good look... And start painting the big horde that was already on my desk.

Have Warriors of the Last alliance
Rangers (2 off the sprue and one that I borrowed the arm for an Aragorn conversion)
Uruk Scouts with one off the sprue
Galadhrim
Warg attack
as well as about 7 blisters of unopened models.
I was worse when I first started as I had umpteen models on the sprues. However, I have years of models to get through and would hate not to have anything to build or paint
