I'm getting bored with the GW figures now, and I'm thinking of casting some of my own. Can anyone point me in the direction of the best stuff for producing a mould, and sourcing the metal to do it with?

princeaugust.ie makes "model metal" which is pretty good for casting figures. They also have a range of moulds to use the metal with.

As for the moulding, I don't know. Prince August were making some sort of mould set at some point, but they don't seem to now. Google may be your friend. Apparently moulding rubber is pretty easy to come by. The complicated bit is making the moulds themselves.

All i would say is beware of copyright. I would prefer to cast resin over white metal any day myself.
