it'll be the first year since long that I bought less then I painted... I reduced the backlog (a little) !!

I dont really mind. IMO GW has released everything that I personally want, all the new stuff have either been unneccesarry or unaffordable (although I like alot of them) I'm focusing on WW2 stuff but will still buy the occasional LOTR figure. LOTR will never die with me, it'll always be there and I 've survived without GW support for ages so I'm sure me and alot of other people will beable to as well. I'm just waiting patiently for the hobbit as I know that's goin gto be awesome (and i'm sure thats what GW is doing as well although I would appreaciate a 10 year anniversary)

That wasn't even a major release. The last major release was Battlehosts, which was a year and a half ago.

Corsair Revaers have a prrofile, but you have to convert them yourself. The Black Numenorean Catapult also has a profile, all you need is a Mordor Catapult and a blister of Black numenoreans and hey presto a Black Numenorean Catapult.

Yes they have profiles but no figures to represent them. Also on the note of the black numenorean catapult, I personally would still like something a little different to a standard orc catapult. I just don't see the black numenoreans using wood to build a catapult, it's much more up their street to build a finely crafted 'spiky' one out of metal. Plus I'm too lazy (and unskilled) to convert my own.

That is true ukfreddy. It should be a relief that they're not releasing any new Lotr models, especially relieving for my wallet! It also helps my wallet when the last few releases looked awful, except for that Cave Drake. I was looking forward to releases of the Wardens of the Keys, of Carrock, the werewolves, and the Blue Wizards, but that won't be happening anytime soon.
