Not sure if this would be the correct place to put this, but seeing as this question applies to both SBG and WotR, I'm putting it here. So my questions are, 1. are chariots effective in either system, and 2. if so, how do you use them?

In SBG no, they are probably the worst model to have if you weigh up cost and effect.

You are referring to the Khandish chariots, yes?

In WotR the basic chariot is really too slow and too vulnerable but with the King's Chariot upgrade it becomes a fairly useful unit. Most of the Fallen Realms players around here field one or two king's chariots.

Yes, I'm refering to the Khandish Chariots. I've been thinking of making an Easterling Chariot, increasing the stats and the price accordingly, but I wanted to know if the basic Khandish Chariot was worth it to begin with.

Chariots may are not so effective but are nice to have on the tabletop. You can use the rules of khandish Chariots for any Chariot you like (anyway, it is only a game). I have two Dunlending Chariots and I am working on another project (Orc Chariots). If you want check here: http://dramatickatastases.blogspot.com/
And some photos:

Two things:

1. Those are awesome conversions!
2. Instead of hijacking a thread about the *rules* for chariots, how about posting these (and hopefully more) in their own thread in the miniatures or works in progress forum?

Thank you for the comment. It was just a suggestion, a tip let's say, but you are right, that's why Thursday I will post the Orc Chariot WIP in the right thread "WIP" under "Plastic Uruk-hai Crossbowmen". Keep painting - Keep converting.
