yeah chris it looks really nice be careful with all the extra horns as the warg reminds me of a high elf lion :-D but the model in a whole is great :)

From what I can see it does look good. The horns does give it a Warhammer feel, but it's not like a creature can't wear something
like that in the world of Middle-Earth. The most important thing is that the sculpt should look realistic rather than campy & exagerated like the Warhammer miniatures.

I never saw more than 2 or 3 warhammer mini's so i couldn't prevent my warg to look like 1 because of the horns, I will try to avoid horns for now on.. thanks for the tips guys 8)

I don't have cavalry bases for my wargs so i made some on my own

I repaired his helmet and I made a base inspired on the cutted trees around isengard

It is not completely painted yet, just to show the new base

Hmmm. The two horns on the sides of the Shaman's head look ok but I think the one at the front is a bit over the top and would look better without it. Just my opinion though. Nice tree trunk on the riders base. 8)

nice helmet i quite like the horns however i think that possibly the one at the front is a tiny bit large but the model looks fine and i also really like the base! :)

well i couldn't make some skulls...to hard for me to sculpt skulls :( So I made the shaman holding 2 human heads...works anyway

It was a pain to do this shaman... I'm glad it's finally over!! Ufffff! :o.. I dont like it without the horns but w/e. at least it is not looking like warhammer anymore

The base is a tree trunk like the base of my first warg rider.. (The ents will get mad when they see this cutted tree  )

I never suggested to get rid of the horns, or at least not entirely. It gave him that Loki look. (Loki from Thor Marvel Comics incase you're wondering). Warhammer is usually oversized and over exaggerated. The horns on the goblin would of fit into the Tolkien world just as much as the Morannon Orc Lt. with the skull on top of his head. No matter, your sculpt still looks good.

I only mentioned the huge one at the front. The two smaller side horns were ok I thought.
Regarding skulls, it might be easier for you to sculpt them over two sessions. First make a ball with the eye and nose sockets. Then leave to set. Afterwards, you have a firm base with which to add your jaw area. Just a suggestion.

Thanks for the tip! But i think i leave the orc shaman like it is now.. Im realy tired of working on him  so many details....i was almost giving up on him..

It takes so much time to do 1 single warg rider :(

________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________

Next i'm going to do a warg rider with shield and sword, here is some pictures of 2 wargs with a simple armor that i made last night

your warg riders are really nice :) the shaman looks really good and i think you have done an excellent job on him. I think that the horns will work if they are used throughout the force as a sign of the tribe they belong too or something like that , you could even give the unit a special name because of their horns like... im not even going to try i suck at thinking of names. But i think that a name would help to crete a nice narrative to your riders. :)

Great work! Keep up the progress. If you ever get tired of doing something you have two solutions:
1. Stop for now and do something else.
--or--
2. Push your way through and finish it.

What ever you do, don't completely quit when you've gotten so far.
