This is operating under the old army building rules. My opponent hasn't sprung for the new books yet, so we're sticking with the old ones until he does.

Hmmm, Aragorn and Gandalf obviously pack quite a punch, but your warriors aren't likely to survive for long. I'd take Faramir or Boromir and get some extra warriors in.

I would drop the archers and replace with rangers. I'd also take boromir with his banner instead of Aragorn. Maybe put in some citadel or fountain guard in the extra points you save.

Mid Sussex Wargamers

Can't take Rangers under LoME rules, he'd need Faramir, Damrod, or Madril, and then only 1/3rd of them could shoot.

@Deorwine: yeah, it'll be tough to make that work. Just get Aragorn into the thick of it, and use Gandalf to keep any wraiths off his back. A few models with bodyguard rule would also help keep monsters and wraiths off his back...skip the banner and upgrade to some Citadel or Fountain Guard if you have them.
