Hello One-Ringers! :-D

I'm Koen, better known as 'Fëanor', or 'Fëanor, the mighty elf'. Apparently, I already had made this account about 2 years ago, but I didn't use it since. Now with the new look, it seemed like the timing was right to become active here too!

Some of you who are active on The Last Alliance might already know me from there (where my username is just Fëanor). I've been active there for many years (since 2004 I think, back before the crash). I've been in the hobby for nearly 9 years now, starting when BGiMe issue 1 came to the Netherlands!

Over the years, I've collected a lot of models and I can nowadays field at least a small army of pretty much every realm. Gondor and Mordor are by far my biggest though (with over 100 models each). I also have a lot of Dwarves, Corsairs, Harad and more.

My main interests in the game are map campaigns and representing armies and battles true-to-the-books (or better still: a combination of those two!). You could say I'm a real Tolkien-nerd! :wink:

Hi Koen, welcome (back) to the One Ring. I remember you from the old TLA I think. You were pretty active there if I recall.

Lot's to do here - there's a painting challenge on at the moment and a bunch of new articles poised and waiting to be released. So enjoy!

@Dagorlad: yes, I used to be fairly active on the old TLA, and I'm still active on the new one.
Cool to hear the community is so active over here! I'll try to enter in the Painting competition, and in the Terrain Comp as well! Hm.. I should better start looking for some time..

@ Amarthadan: Thanks! I made most of it about 2 or 3 years ago, but my interest faded a bit for over a year (I painted about 3 models in that year in total and made no scenery).
Now about half a year ago, I really picked it all up again. Thing is also that I can only work on it on the weekends. Now the enormous size of the plans I have with this is just really unmotivating too. I plan on making a third level (a Throne room), a fourth level (Balustrade looking into the Throne Room) and an entire snowy mountain side that will have a gate leading inside and watchtowers. It's starting to itch to start working on it again though..
