By the way, there is a resaon why the new Wood Elves don't look like Galadhrim. In the film universe there are three groups of Elves (Rivendell, Galadhrim & Mirkwood) each with their own armour style. In LotR Legolas is the only Mirkwood Elf., In the Hobbit this is not the case.

To me that Legolas model does not show armour, just a tunic....

If tunic's constitute armour then hey i am having my legolas as an armoured legolas...

And the same to me...

As I said before, to fit him in with a Galadhrim army, you'll have to do. Head swap

Can you not see the amoured plates on his shoulders? that is what he wears at helms deep in the film.

I agree with the Dubedain. In AOME that constitutes armour. Legolas in Helm's Deep Armour, Aragirn in Helm's Deep Armour etc...

But you can still convert or wait.

Not sure if I'm allowed to post the prologue clip from youtube (some other youtube user has uploaded it in HD, easy to find though) but they look heavily armoured to me, hopefully they are so there are an alternative to heavy armour rivendell elves as they wouldn't really fit a lorien, mirkwood theme. Legolas i'm not counting on to have armour, maybe an armour option and probably a rule like slay the spiders or something.

Also I hope they release thranduil on a horse if mounted because I'm not buying and elk. Same goes for possible mirkwood cavalry.

I disagree, the elk is one of the reasons I am actuall planning on giving wood elves a try, I have never played Good before, but I will do when GW releas the Wood Elves with the second film. I also need Radagast's Bunny Sled.

I'm not really sure why you don't think Rivendell's warriors have a place among the Mirkwood Elves and Lorien. First of all Elrond is a member of the White Council, second, Elrond's Wife was the Daughter of Celeborn and Galadriel so he would support his Wife's parents, third his children have as much claim to protect those lands as anyone do to lineage.

That aside, I've put my Mirkwood army on hold, instead the 24 mirkwood warriors are planned as being Gildor's Noldor Exiles. I won't start building an army for mirkwood until the new ones come out as I think they look cool and it always irked me that they didn't have anything but leather represented as armor do to my Hobbit Fanboyism.

Can include Galadhrim Knights. Completely overpowered if your table includes tough terrain due to Woodland Creature rule.

I didn't mean the three kingdoms didn't have any relations among each other, I meant theme wise, I would prefer light armoured and no armoured elves for a lorien, mirkwood army than heavily armoured elites like rivendell elves. could be just me though.

Actually I would agree with that, while I think they should be armored I don't really think that their armor should be heavy armor either.
