I am well on the way to finishing another four Hunter Orcs on Fell Wargs as to be lead by Yazneg (I have another untouched pack of six who are ideally earmarked for Fimbul and the White Orc). I am also simultaneously working on Oin, a unit of Erebor Dwarf Warriors and a second Giant Eagle (part of a five eagle air force to be lead by Gwaihir).

Oh, I also forgot to mention about another set worth of Goblin Town decking! I have used a fair old bit of brown paint recently!

Those Gobbo's and Grim Hammers are truly fantastic!

The Company may need a bit more shading, though.

Gloin, though I am not quite satisfied withe the skin tone as it looks a bit too soft. I might have a go at shrinking the eyes as well.

Your orc, goblin and troll skin is very well painted. They really look the part, I would like to see your take on Azog. However, your Dwarf skin leaves a lot to be desired, it is very flat and seems painted in a rush.

Faces are very hard things to accomplish well , jamesy52 please remember that. Bilbo is brave to even give it a try and with more tries he will get better im sure and for that he should be proud.

Bilbo i would recommend a guide on painting dwarf faces , and testing it out on some plastic spare you have that you can just strip each time so you dont have to ruin ( not that the ones you have already done are ruined ) any new models in process of learning better outcomes and techniques. I am currently doing this on my erebor dwarves.

Come on now, you're getting a bit defensive, painting skin isn't that hard and as we can see Bilbo paints excellent skin on his orcs. He is a good painter.

There is no need to jump in with that bit about him being brave, it is very patronising. My criticism is constructive and anybody who posts their work has to expect that.

Since you went on to give advice I assume you agree? Your advice is good.
