Hi, apologies if this is in an inappropriate section.

Wondering which of the four Orc leaders to pick for my army. While Bolg has a monstrous statline and stature, he lacks the mounted option. Azog is probably my favourite model though, and his pale skin would stand out wonderfully...

Any input? Just asking for some opinions. I haven't seen the statlines for anyone except Bolg, and I did hear about Bolg's special rule which sounds crazy too.

Thanks in advance
VG

Yazneg doesn’t really have his own rules yet.

How many points is your army?

I really like Fimbul for his points.

Fimbul is amazing for his points. Stick him on a warg and he easily go toe-toe with any other demi hero due to his higher FV.

Yazneg (aka Hunter orc captain) I only ever take on foot to benefit from his many blades rule. A generic captain that has 3 att? Yes please.

Narzug: I tend to use him to snipe generals and important models such as banners due to his free might when shooting rule. No slouch in combat either but I prefer the two above for that.

Azog & Bolg: Both are very expensive and have gorgeous models. Bolg is stupidly hard to power up as any canny opponent will throw magic or big heroes at him to prevent him muching on your troops. On the other hand, when I face azog, I either shoot him (D5 sucks) or keep my heroes away from him and wait until I have wounded him/ drained his might and fate. I'm yet to use these two properly in battle tho. They have potential.

After seeing Azog's rules which make him a herokilling monster (provided he can get close), I think he's now essential :yay:

Thanks
