An old article that still looks as good today as the day it was actually submitted.
How these figures are not in the Hall of Fame, I do not know !

Brilliant article Keyser with fantastic results !

This is a great, clear guide.
Your work is of the best quality and you make it very accessible.
I have one of these guys hanging around somewhere, and when I paint him I will certainly use your guide. :D

Err - how did I miss this article? Anyway, it is excellent and up to your usual high standard. How you fit all that in while singing in a small barbershop quartet...

Thanks guys! It's very rewarding to see people still remembering and appreciating older articles like this one. I certainly had a lot of fun doing it. Glad that (despite of my sometimes bad english) so many of you found it accessible and useful.
New articles might follow sooner than later

Cheers!

How very nice to see members actually delving into the depths of the article library and noticing some 'exceptional' articles from Yesteryear !

This was one of the finest articles when it was first published and still to this date stands up there with the best !

Good to see that it also coincides with Sven's (Keyser) re-emergence into the community !!!

Great article...one of our best !

I Love the way you paint. I saw all of your painting guides on the one ring and the last alliance and they are amazing.I got every model that you had a painting guide on and followed the guide and they turned out awesome.Today is 8-01-07 and I am painting Easterling. I think you are the best LoTr painter on the one ring. Many thanks.

i especially enjoyed this as i too am a painter who favours drybushing, overall the model is excellent, however the base is superb, how do you paint the rim?
Now repaint the edge of the base with Dark Flesh again (that gives the base a much cleaner look)
So you must've missed it
