I know some of the plastic kits come with extras e.g. casualties, equipment, alternate arms so if everyone could contribute then we can have a handy thread to look up bitz for conversions.

Warriors of Erebor - 6 spare shields

Mounted Galadhrim Knights come with 2 extra shields.
Rivendell Knights come with 2 extra spears and potentially two spear arms.
Easterling Kataphrakts come with lots of Extra sword arms. I think its somewhere around 7-8 Extra sword arms and even two extra swords unattached to anything.

Hunter Orcs on Fell Wargs comes with 12-18 spare Orc heads, 6 spare Warg heads, 12 spare weapon arms and 2 dead Hunter Orcs

Mordor/Isengard Troll comes with 2 spare heads, 3 spare weapon hands, 1 spare right arm, 1 spare left arm, 2 spare chest items.

Warg Riders comes with4 swords, 6 shields, 3 or 4 quivers and bows

Note:
-The Nazgul and troll pieces aren't necessarily extras but just the components.
-Shields aren't usually extras because most of the time you use them all any way.
-"Kind of" equals you almost defiantly will use these pieces anyway so they aren't really extras.
-Some boxes I just listed all the weapons e.g. Easterling Kataphrakts, Morgul Knight.

I have probably missed some boxes, hope this is easy to understand, fill in the missing ones.

This is only the Lotr plastic kits. I don't think there are any extra parts in the Metal or Finecast packs.

Battle Companies

the metal royal rohan guards on foot come with 3 figures but 3 spears and 3 swords so you can decide which weapon to glue in their hands

The mounted Rohan Royal Guard also come with the choice between sword and spear, although I think that was literally gluing the weapon into the hand and not two different arms. The Guards on foot were the ones with two different arms.
EfGT Thorin - spare arm set. EfGT Bilbo - spare arm. Gandalf the Grey (Quasimodo) - optional hat. Thror - optional shield.
