Check the rules applying in the country of origin, the airline itself, and what the US authorities rules are on the subject.
I would not recommend it.

You also have to worry about changes in air pressure, which can cause bottles/pots to leak or explode, so be very careful. It's be a shame to open your baggage and find everything covered in paint!

You will have more trouble getting it on when you try to go home. They don't like liquids in containers in any amount, even soap, shampoo and stuff like that is restricted in amount. it may suck, but you are better off not bringing it.

I had a load of Vallejo paints in a tupperware container inside my checked luggage last time I flew to America and had no problems.

Listen Ive traveled internationally half a dozen times. You can bring your paint. Pack it very safely though so it doesnt get damaged. The damage would be from smashing and nothing else.

The only things you cant bring are like aerosol weapons etc. And if you bring it in a carry on you can fill certain amounts inside plastic baggies for America. Not so sure for your rules. But generally put it in your suitcase no big deal.
