Wow, those are fantastic. Your clients pick great colors too. The blue is awesome. And speckled greys are my favorite horse colors, probably because of old Eastwood westerns, but you did a great job.

:D :yay:

Wonderful! You have mastered the water effects as well as the painting and basing. The Eomer wins it by a smidgin for me but then I have a soft spot for Rohan.

I love how the model shows this guy's denial with the shirt that doesn't fit.
The texture you've achieved on the boots and cloaks are very impressive. But as always your gem work is what shines the most IMO

Fantastic colors, looks fun to paint (as fun as painstakingly tedious details can be).

Thanks Mally. ah yes the errr bubbles in the water. These were quite tricky to do lol. It involved mixing the resin in the wrong quantities at the wrong temperature and then not leaving it stand long enough after mixing to pour. Bubbles were a total accident buddy lol. I quite like how they turned out although next time there won;t be any.

The blend from purple to blue is subtle but really caught my eye along with the usual exquisite base work.

Client requested the model be based on Elsa from the movie Frozen complete with ice and snow base. Had to turn this around quickly. Hope its what the client is looking for.

Hi Mally, sorry didn't notice the question. There are two ways i make icicles. One is to make them the same way as waterfalls with water effects spread thinly and then cut to shape followed by a coat of gloss varnish to stiffen them up. Or ... you can buy them ready made in the old GW terrain packs : ). I do tend to make my own and only use the pre made ones when i'm pushed for time.
