Comments and criticisms on this 350 pts list please

Gil-Galad, shield (Leader)

Beregond
10 Warriors of Minas Tirith, shields

Damrod
10 Warriors of Minas Tirith, shields

Should I swap some warriors for Rangers? And if so how many?

Thanks,
LordElrond

Pretty sure Beregond and Damrod were born a good few centuries after Gil-Galad...

I'm sorry, but I can't help screw my nose up at the complete lack of theme. I miss when Legions meant you had to take a properly themed force.

well of course it could be a very effective force, the all round good defence is very good, but I would add 5 rangers to it, just in case you have a low armored or cavalry opponent. having no ranged units at all, gives your opponnent les to think about tacticly. even the possible threat the archery poses would be usefull.

I agree with smeagol, that I dont like gil-galad with this force at all.
the twins, could be there theme wise, but it only seems that gil-galad is in the force becouse of his defence and fight value and i dont like that.

why not take the twins, or one of the better fiefdom/gondor heroes (imrahil, boromir) ?

I love it but I agree with J.R. Bring instead do this:

Gil Galad
Beregond
7 warriors with shield
3 rangers of gondor with spear
Damrod
7 warriors with shield
2 rangers of gondor with spear

I think I did math right off top of my head if not adjuct.

But the rangers gives you 5 extra bows leading you to 7 and also provide spear support and fight 4 for those combats....
