Indeed a great mini. I have one minor quibble though, the leather that is made from dwarves that he has killed is too uniform. The painting on it is good, but right now it is painted as if it is all one piece of leather, and not multiple different pieces put together.

@Avenger I know exactly what you mean. I played around with that part of the model more than any other and still didn't get the effect i was looking for. It will be better next time.

Cheers guys :-)

Nice work as per usual DMS.
Did the two pieces of the warg fit together well on this one?

Ahhhh..
Very impressive Bolg paint job. Now I can see all the tonal values that the Dark Flesh has brought out on the flesh. I would not have though to be so bold (bolg) with it, but it looks great. Of course, hindsight being what it is, I can always revisit Bolg and of course test it a bit on the foot version before working over my mounted.
anyway, great job.
Pieces didn't fit? I thought that was how they are made, to not fit together at all and seam as if they were from different molds altogether. :)

A very nicely evil Bolg painted to your usual very high standard :yay:

Is it just me, or is his warg strangely elongated? I imagine it is larger than the regular hunter orc wargs - but the body looks too long - kinda like a sausage warg

It is probably just me - usually is.

The Wiener Warg! I'd say t's the position of the haunches that gives the impression, though. Adds to the sense of motion.

Great paint job!

If that was a warg marauder you could fit five goblins on there instead of three. The stretched limo of Middle-earth!

It's more the long base than the long warg that bothers me. Great paint job as usual though.

Why did you have to paint this model now? Yours is bloody amazing as usual. And I think you handled the oval base really well, with just the right amount of scenery. A brilliant paintjob to boot. But as I'm halfway through painting my own Bolg right now, I'll have to forget about seeing yours.

Lol Apologies Gothmog.

Next up is another conversion. Construction by Dave using a Dunlending Warrior and a Black Numenorean. The dog is by ebob.
Everything about this piece is client specified right down to the colours and marking on the dog (Duke).

This is the second time Dave has done this particular conversion, the first belongs to this clients brother.

I was not fussed on the model particularly the first time around but enjoyed this version much more for some reason.

There are more and bigger pictures of this guy on the website Shadow & Flame

Thanks for looking and the next model is pretty much done. Aragorn mtd for the GBHL channel is 2moro's update.
