How does old Gwaihir match with Plastic Eagles

I was gonna pick up Escape from Orthanc at a local store, but wondered how old Gwaihir matches with the new Eagles? Or even new Gwaihir?

The detail is only half that of the new eagles. His body is similar size but the wings are only half as big and he looks way out of proportion with the new ones.

The wings are slightly shorter, and much narrower in breadth. The body is close but also smaller.
That said, if you had a bunch of eagles and he was in there it would not affect the game. Also there are profiles for other eagles in WD issues that you could check into in issue 287 for Landroval and Meneldor. You could say that the eagle is smaller due to age (younger or older) of maybe by sex (male or female) and make an alternate statline. You can keep the stats as is since getting hit by a giant eagle or a slightly smaller giant eagle would still put the hurt on about the same.
