i'm thinking of collecting a mordor and galadhrim army for wotr. these are the lists i made:

Mordor orc warband (8 companies) w/captain and shields 210pts

Warg rider warband (6 companies) w/captain, banner bearer and shields 235pts

Mordor troll 100pts

Fallen Realms allies:

Haradrim warband (3 companies) w/haradrim chieftain 125pts

any advice?

Do the haradrim have bows? Their poison is really great. Also you don't lose out on any defense benefit when you give them bows.

For Mordor I would drop the Orcs with bows, give the Haradrim bows, and split up the eight company formation.

For the Galadhrim I would drop the Captains in the Galadhrim Archer Regiments and the banner from the Galadhrim Regiment. And then use those points to get another Epic hero.

looks good. i think for the mordor army i would do as the others said and exchange the orcs with bows for the poisened arrows of harad.

i think the galadrim army looks good, but i would take the captain out of one of the archer regiments and put him in with the galadrim warriors with sheilds.

Consider an Eagle vs. the Ent. I've seen and used them to straffe enemy formations and they do this very well. Very frustrating for many opponents who may divert resources to stopping them vs. engaging your elves.

I'm really impressed how deadly Warg Riders can be in WotR. They often didn't pay for themselves in SBG but now they can be as scary as they looked in TTT film. Consider breaking them into two 3-Company Formations though and adding a Captain to each. At The Double move them around and hit from the rear to get the full effect of their Evilness.

Trolls are fun but like all H2K models they can, and often do, go down on the very first turn they are used. If you only have one keep him in a supporting role or as a distraction.

Consider putting Khamul in with your normal Orcs. His ability to bounce wounds will not only make the Orcs last longer, but since you will take more wounds you will probably have more to give back. Feel free to direct these wounds at enemy formations that have a defense too high to easily hurt. :-P

When looking at Spells, Wings of Terror rocks for getting to an objective or getting a flank in immediately ( BTW: Khamul w/ a full formation of 6 Warg Riders is probably a great option for both wound deflection and Wings of Terror, but I haven't tried this yet).
