Im not sure if this is in the right forum but O well.

So i have been making a Grey Havens army for a while now and i wanted to convert some of my wood elves to give them spear and shields to use them as unarmoured elves. I also wanted to convert my High elves with elven blades to give them shields. i was just wondering how i would do this? and if you guys got any ideas. Also if anyone knows a way to get elf shields (the shields that come with the high elf spearmen) cheap and quick, can you please tell me how.

Ehmmmmmm. A way to get cheap shields? Casting! I've done the same for my swan knights.

Shields: casting
Spears: make some elven spears use thick copper wire or whatever and the blades of your high elves, the result looks good

The same here, but make sure when you reposition the arms, you have to create a realistic pose. thats bigg problem with converting high elves. Just think: how would you stand ? So, Long live the mirror!

Thanks for the help. I will try converting some later and maybe try and get a picture up.
Also do you know any other way to get the high elf shields cheap other than casting?

I would suggest getting some plasticard and designing shields, because casting components from Games Workshop's models is highly illegal.
