Sorry I haven't been able to participate in the first two months, but I've been a bit busy trying to finish a few projects(most of which aren't done yet :shock:

), but I decided to do ahead and start now.
So here is my project for this month.

A company of Morranon orcs with a converted banner bearer(do I need to paint the mini it replaces, or is that just for heroes?)
Here are a few close ups of the banner and its bearer.

If I get done early, I will have another company of Morranon orcs that I might do this month too, depending on when I finish this company.
I should have an update on their progress soon. Enjoy!

Beautiful work so far. Is the banner just paper or some sort of fabric? looks like it.

Thanks guys! The banner is just paper with some green stuff on the back to help the paper keep its shape.

Treebead::

Treebeard is painted dark with grey highlights and his beard is washed with light green to give it a moss feel.

Quickbeam::

Quickbeam is painted to resemble "ironwood." Quick is reddish brown with a light grey "skin."

Beacxhbone is painted is my fav. Quick and Beech both have this hint of a smile on em, Quick as if in anticipation as to what is about to come and Beech is giddy from crush an orc under..root :lol:

Anywho; there ya go.

As for this month??? Well....I have a major gaming event in a few weeks so I have to paint 2 boxes of dwarven rangers, 3 boxes of dwarven warriors and dwarven hero's and 2 ballistas. More than the 1 company requirement, but this has gotten the mojo flowing for me to try to tackle this grand project.

Wow great ents ScarpeIron, i think you would have got best painted if they were on time.

Witch-King of Angmar with morgul blade 80pts

Yep thats a hasharin. i thought that because he had a black cloak he would be easy to paint alongside the ringwraiths.
Anyone else apart from me and PoW going to do it this month?

Due to exams, art coursework, and other commitments, my elf archers from last month still aren't completed.

I will try and have them finished for the end of this month instead, and a hero or some captains as well to bring me back on track. i will try to upload pics as soon as possible.

In the meantime though, here are some fellowship characters i painted. bases still to be completed: :frodo:

I've been a bit more busy than I thought I would be, so I didn't have a whole lot of time to paint this week, but here is a small update.

As you can see, I have finished the red clothing, and have started on the brown clothing. I'll try to get some more painting done soon. Enjoy!
