Was given a load of old scenery by a friend, it was originally some levitating daemon lave world stuff, so I've decided to turn into an underground battlefield for lotr, using large pieces of slate as bridges for now :)

All needs painting still, I primed one piece after applying a bit of textured paint.

I like it a lot, though perhaps you should put it on a base because it looks pretty fragile to me at the moment. But I'm looking forward to seeing it painted.

Some of the smaller pieces are on bases, but the larger bits don't need it, I'll put a few photos up later with models on to show size. The pieces of slate are just placed on, so the entire thing is modular :)

cool it really looks like floating in the air - this will really work well for making heights - without building it really heigh. Have u tryd a really dark underground beneath it?

Yeah I have a large piece of black fabric that I've been using as a board, I got a Citadel gaming mat recently, so the fabric will get used for the moria board instead
