Hi, kindly i have small question may be it is silly, how can i know the preferred color for and warriors for lord of the rings before i buy the box. usually at the back of the box it is telling you the preffered colors to paint for. and i don't have all colors collection so every time i wanna start, i stopped due to i don't have the required colors to paint for.

so if you have a pdf or any kind of catalog showing the colors for each warriors and heroes. so when i buy the box i buy the related color with it.

you do not need every color. if you go to tomes of wisdom there is a article at painting where is shown how to mix all colors from primary colors.
i use that sometimes if i do not have the right colors fore the model i'm painting.
i hope this will help.

If you buy the sourcebook for the region you want it usually has colour guides. Also under Tomes of Wisdom you might find painting guides for the models you want to paint.

...or you could just be creative and make your own color schemes.
Frankly, the people who do this are adding to the hobby.
Don't be limited by the producers of the products. Look in the galleries, you will find much better examples than what you get on the boxes, anyway.
Good luck!

It depends on what models you collect, of course. You don't have to paint them with the exact same colours as games workshop anyway.
