Has anyone got the GW model of "Cirion"? he seems to be just a normal Gondor captain, to fit in where you want, but the few pictures I've seen on e-bay indicate that his face is a bit...special. And not in a good way.

Can anyone enlighten me regarding if he's worth buying?

Well, he doesen't have a helmet and only wears armour as oposed to heavy armour. Gaming wise he is good because he can easily chrage wraiths and other terror causing creatures. In addition he has 3 might.

Yeah, you see, you're getting me confused with someone who doesn't make up his own rules and profiles...

Does he look like a steely-eyed dealer of death, or does he look like he fell out of the ugly tree, hitting every branch on the way down?

Some models should have been born wearing helmets.

Theodred must have the ugliest face IMO. Cirion is a close second.

I admit that it's hard to design a model for a character that is only seen in the films dead, but there really are a decent number of pics of the actor in some of the extras on the special edition dvds and on the web. I imagine he may have been pretty excited to hear that he was going to be immortalized as a miniature (like having an Action Figure made of you), but would have been torqued off pretty throughly once he saw the model. It's the worse "likeness" I can think of once they retired that original Arwen fail ( yuck! ).

Dang shame too because in WotR I think he's a good Epic. Thankfully I only intend to use him in Cavalry and his mounted form isn't too bad.
