My new Good list, finally decided on 750pts.

Well here is my 750pts of Good models, so here we go:

Aragorn,
Anduril,
Armour,
Bow,
Total: 260

Boromir,
Elven Cloak,
Total: 115

Gandalf,
Total: 170

Legolas,
Elven Cloak,
Armour,
Total: 105

Gimli,
Elven Cloak,
Total: 100

Well any ideas of help for it, or am i doomed to failure? Remember i like a challenge and a laugh more than anything so even if i don't make turn 3 i don't mind, it willl be fun to see how it goes. Though to break the force you need to take out at least 3 of those and with all models having Courage 6 or 7 i can see them lasting a while in the right game.

Keep Legolas only for shooting and watch the Nazgul

Yeah, i plan to use it like this:

Keep Legolas darting around, loosing off arrows while the other four, under the cover of Gandalf's Blinding Light advance towards the enemy then break into the enemy lines and crush them as they go. Only thing that worries me are armies that are pushing the model limit.

Well i just happen to have them all as models and thought why not, sure i can field 750 out of this, just didn't want to bother with the stupid Hobbits lol.

If you're playing all hero, you may want to swap Legolas for a more fighty hero.

Well true but that would ruin the Fellowship, really i could swap Boromir for someone that will be able to get across the board without being shot but that would again ruin the Fellowship.

I have an idea for a more Second Age Fellowship, sort of Isildur, some Dwarf Heroes, Elrond, Elladan and Elrohir as they can ally in LoME but that is for another day.

Again that would ruin your fellowship as Elladan and Elrohil were born at Third age :lol:

Of course he can... As well Elendil,Erestor,Cirdan,Galadriel,Celeborn etc...

How about Dwarves, which of the named Dwarves could have actually been present in a list for a sort of start of Third Age force?

Murin and Drar would also be good... Balin,Floi but Durin is 1000 years back I think... So maybe a pre-Hobbit force would fit him in...

Yeah i plan on having at least Durin or Dain, if not both, in the force as they are just power houses. Plus for Good i prefer the Heroes, not the Warriors, except maybe Dwarves.

Very true, i much prefer the Heroes. In fact aside from the Army of the Dead and the Dwarves i don't care much for the good warriors.

Umm, an all-foot hero list doesn't perform too well, and legolas is a bit of wild card tbh....

Make sure everyone has atleast 3 attacks, you kinda need glorfindel and the twins: glorfindel because he is fight 7 and can beat the SQ, the twins because they are epic value for points. Murin and drar aren't really great choices (unfortunatley).

More advice would be dropping gandalf for radagast and getting combat galadriel in there for blinding light, being able to heal your heroes makes a big difference (especially when everyone is on foot)
