Im sorry, but Im not sure of the meaning of fluff.

Coming from a non-GW gaming background, I've always found the term "fluff"......disturbing.

To be honest, unlike say Elves or Rohan or Angmar, lists like Misty Mountains, Mordor and Gondor probably should be built with theme in mind. They are inherently strong lists and as long as you keep a critical (ie weigh them up carefully) eye toward the Legendary formations, you are going to make a very competitive list. The good thing about these lists is that you don't have to worry about how to get the most cost-effective troops in via allies/rares etc. This means you can just rely on the basic stuff and trust whatever you like the look of will work well - that means you can concentrate on having fun with it.

I saw a very good idea today, so Im sure that I will use ghost army anyway. Take a look:





I was always wondering how could I make the ghost to look like a ghost. First I was thinking to lighting paint, but it doesnt look so good at daylight. The I was thinking that maybe I could put some fly gloss pole above the figure, so it could look like its levitating. But if I also put some cotton abouve the ghost like this guy, then the effect would be perfect. If I get home, I must try it.

It looks great, but I doubt that it would hold up well under actual use in a game.

I could be wrong though. Would love it if I was.

Why do you say that it would be bad at the game?

I'm worried that the cotton will get all mashed and distorted from constantly picking up miniatures, having them bump into other figs or terrain to get base to base, falling over on hills, that sort of thing. I'm just worried that cotton wouldn't be sturdy enough to last.

By all means, give it a try though and let us know how it works.

As I heard, with pva glue and matt varnish it will be strong enough. I dont plan to use as many cotton as this guy did, just a little above the figure to imitate that it is levitating.
