SBG Mordor Character Descriptions Error

I was looking over my Mordor SBG book and I was reading the character descriptions of Gorbag & Shagrat. It said Gorbag the orc is greedy and selfishly hoarding treasure for himself; while the uruk Shagrat is loyal to Sauron and he wanted to present the mithril shirt for the Dark Lord. If I'm not mistaken, is it the other way around? Because I know that in the films it is. Can't remember in the book RotK.

Who else has spotted this and were puzzled by it? Not that it is a big deal.

Shagrat was the loyal one, that much I remember from the books, but I'm pretty sure in the films Shagrat is the loyalist orc while Gorbag is the selfish uruk. I'll admit I spotted it a couple times and mulled it over... then I turned back a few pages back to the Rohirrim units I was meaning to look at.

The films have them the oposite way around I believe, so I don't know which one GW is basing it on. Although the film version could be interperated in a different way. From my memory Gorbag says "it belongs to the eye" but that could easily just be an excuse for him to have it and keep it for himself.

Well there's a lack of consistency on either the film's or the sourcebook's part. I might as well wiki it if it's bothering me that much. Well at least I'm not the only one that has noticed that.

In the books, Gorbag is a selfish Uruk-hai and Shagrat is a loyal Uruk-hai.

In the films, Gorbag is a loyal Orc and shagrat is a selfish Uruk-hai.

GW are trying to combine the two to please both film and book fans.

Really in the book they're both Uruk-hai? I thought one of them was actually an orc, that's why a fight broke out between two different races... I thought. Devlan Mud I'm going to have to dust off my RotK.
