Who is Golfimbul?

He isnt on GW's site, or ANYWHERE ELSE. Is he actually lotr???

Golfimbul was an orc chieftain from the Misty Mountains. In TA 2747, Golfimbul led an army of Orcs from Mount Gram in the Misty Mountains into the Northfarthing of the Shire. The orc incursion in the northern Shire occurred during the reign of Arassuil as Chieftain of the Dúnedain, and the orcs led by Golfimbul were but the most western pack of orcs which had left the Hithaeglir (the Misty Mountains). The only reason Golfimbul could make it all the way to the Shire was that the Rangers at the time were fighting many battles with orcs, preventing them from settling all of Eriador.

The Orcs were defeated by a troop of Hobbits led by Bullroarer Took. During the Battle of Greenfields, Bullroarer charged at Golfimbul and knocked off his head with a club. Golfimbul's head flew through the air for 100 yards and went down a rabbit hole. It is said that this is how the game of golf was invented.

Golfimbul was an orc chief from a tribe in the misty mountains who raided the shire during a long winter. I believe a combination of plague and weather prevented the rangers from striking the orc forces, which left the task to the hobbits themselves. As noted earlier, bandobras took lobbed off his heas and in turn, the game of golf was invented. He was in the scouring of the shire supplement as a foil for bandobras, though his model has since been discontinued.

Golfimbul was one of the few Orcish heroes who actually was canon and GW discontinued it.

I think he was discontinued for legal reasons, because GW didn't have a licence to the Hobbit at the time - I was lucky enough to get him before he was discontinued

Yes in the Scouring of the Shire.
He can also be used for as a normal Chieftain.

No legal reasons doesn't make sense, because a) they already had licence to some Hobbit content a la FotN, and b) Golfimbul wasn't in the Hobbit.

I believe GW hasn't got the rights to the Sillmirilon (sorry about spelling), I imagine they just retired the miniture due to lack of popularity or mould damage.

No he isn't. He is not in the Hobbut. Azog may have been mentioned, but not Golfimbul.

Is that a new edition then? because I have an ancient copy of the Hobbit, passed down in which Golfimbul is not at all mentioned.
