yep, still differentiating (gotta have hope WoTR...gotta have hope 8) )

Just a few questions dealing with fiefdoms and what others think and how they interpret the new system in handling it.

1) Woses can not move and shoot their blowpipes, but harad can...typo or GW intend - giving evil "all the good **it!" :-X (some quotes are priceless)

2) If I'm reading the new warband's correctly then the only Fiefdom that can field more than 1 band are the Dol Amroth, for they have the only stat profile for a Captain. Where the rest do not. So only 1 warband per other Fiefdoms??? ...if thats the case I much rather have the old rules back.
-unless one converts models to represent Captains of the Dead and then make House Rules for their profiles.
-or...agree to use the Cpts of Dol to lead the Dead :D

3)Duinhir: Special Ability - "Go for the Eyes!" ...is only for Monsters and not worded as a 2 part ability in 1 sentence?
- I am leaning towards JUST monsters, for their troopers have the Special Ability for "...only monsters."

4)Riders of the Dead vs Warriors of the Dead...people still field Riders as priced in the books??? There is no stat improvement over the foot-sloggers and the Riders cost 9pts more. Crazy.
-Our group uses the cost of the Warriors for both and go from there. Thoughts?

5) :puppy:

-Scar

The Riders of the Dead are cavalry in the new rules and get extra attack and knock to the ground, their horse's defence is only 4 though.

Also you can have as many Warband of each Fiefdom as any hero in the list can lead any warriors. you can have Duinhit leading AotD, Forlong leading SKoDA, Angbor leading Axemen etc.

No, any fiefdoms hero can lead any fiefdoms warrior, they're all in the same list. So Angbor could lead KoDA, or Imrahil could lead Clansmen, and you can take as many captains as you need.

ah so its as listed in #2. That just seems....odd.

I think I'm going to go ahead and convert/paint up Cpts for the varies fiefdoms I already have and us the Cpt of Dol for stats (see it as proxy). I like to see a ?uniform look? to my fief-guys.

The Dead cav, thanks for pointing that out. Completely overlooked the troop type for him.

Wonder how easy it would be to convert rohan riders into dead riders... maybe rohan rider lower, AotD upper body, dol amroth horse?
