there is no difference from 23 to 24 models.
I prefer to have 2 sons of eorl instead of 1 RRG (useless in this list, I have Erkenbrand that give the whole army +2 courage) and 2 redshields with low defense and strenght value.

The Sons are highly effective warriors for the theme that you are running- I would keep as many of them as I could, were I in your place.

Yes, I would. Two models can make a large difference, but if you use them well, you can probably make up the difference. Just don't lose charging momentum.
