Well personally, I hate the model and everything it supposedly represents, but it could be good at getting female players to buy it as some of them think he looks cute.

   the eyes on mine make him look like a drug addict  I like the model but not the fact he shoots webs out of his wrists... wait... that's Spiderman

Nice review all the same, and goood luck with the painting.

Thanks, he's not painted (not based), and I'll get pictures when there's decent light

I was hoping that you would do a review of his stats, but it was good. I'm buying him soon, so it's nice to know that people haven't had any trouble with him (yet). Just to make sure, he's basically just a shaman with an extra special rule right?

Thank you :D. Yeah, he's just a shaman with special rule. I hadn't really thought about reviewing his stats, but he is slightly more likely to survive than a normal Goblin Shaman (at least in combat), as your opponent is likely to not want to kill him until your broken (except with archery), for risk of losing valuable warriors/heroes. If you take spiders in your army include him.

Balin's beard is a little too blue, but they look amazing!

Thanks Draugluin. I guess the beard is done to personal taste, but it is slightly less blue in real life (Shadow Grey then Codex Grey)

On another note,Ashrak is now based, using the new texture paints (I really like them) and my first 7 Morannons for the dreaded Bieb challenge are complete, with Osgiliath themed bases.

A couple of tips for using the texture paints:
- Use them before you paint the model, as they can be quite messy (as my Morannon Orcs now know).
- Drybrush them with a lighter colour, makes it look so much better

I figured it might just be the picture, the rest look kinda dark. But like I said, they look amazing.

I've also updated the previous list of my Dwarves

I will get to the poll winner eventually, I've just got to get through lots of other stuff first (which is why it's ongoing), so keep voting, and don't think I've neglected it!

Green stuff on the bases turned out very nice!

Also love the skin tones, they're making each orc look unique.. my fav is the white/pale face one, he seems kind "oddwordly" (not sure if it's the right term), he is making me scared! 8)

(ps. gogo faramir rangers! )

I like the dark, earthy colours on the Morannon force - there is depth to the darkness (sounding a bit philisophical there but you know what I mean 8) ). And who couldn't like a legion of 'filthy' dwarves? Great stuff, keep going!

Thanks :D skin tones were referenced from the film (in that they all had earthy skin tones), and I know what you mean :) Just 50 odd dwarves left (I bought the Finecast commanders box set, needed another banner & captain and a hornblower)

Stay tuned for... something else :P
