Those Galadhrim and Reavers look great, I may have to steal your Galadhrim scheme

You really have some impressive armies here, keep up the good work. Your paintings fantastic, but I think you should try adding more to the bases like some large rocks or leaves which would perfect them.

Been busy moving house and enjoying the sun here in the Uk... :lol:

So yeah, I have a small Lotr Commission to get done, nice, quick and simple hopefully! 500pts of Minas Tirith.

First coat of Gunmetal silver through an airbrush over grey primer:

Very nice way of applying the colours. They still might need a wash though to really bring out the details. Looking forward to seeing the end result.

Gorgeous elves, what did you use for the bowstrings? Normally the strings look too thick, but whatever you used is nice and thin.

it's 34gauge beading wire, not too hard to find really, and was around a £1 I think

He's a good friend so it only cost him £20, normally it's cost of the model

I just won this auction on ebay for £10.50:

Takes me past 30 khazad guard

That's only including the ones that have full axes. If I repair the broken ones, and the broken few I have, I'll have 39

Nice Gondor mini's! Do you find it speeds up the process priming them in silver rather than black? I'll have to try that with my airbrush.

Well it's been almost two years since I posted... I still browse now and then but thought it was about time I actually posted!

The Mrs has decided that she likes The Hobbit films enough to start painting and playing the game. She's really into the painting side of it at the moment
