Well I have finally picked up my brushes again after about 10 years. This is my first go at LOTR SBG miniatures so be gentle
I never really got the hang of dry brushing/highlighting so that is the main things I am working on with these miniatures before I move onto my Gondor Army.

Here are two of the eight Wood Elf archers I have painted. The spearmen and elves with swords are next.

Could do with nice wash. You would be surprised how much better they look with a heavy wash on. Otherwise not bad for a noobie.

Thanks for the great feed back! SidtheSloth, it has been quite some time , I guess it is similar to riding a bike, you never really forget just takes a little practice to get back into the swing of things, thankfully haha.

I did a wash of Delvin Mud after I got the base coat on, do you think I should do another one just before I finish all the details (i.e. eyes, straps, etc)?

I will keep you all posted as soon as I finish the next group of eight.

These are your first ever models? Not bad. They're better than my first models were.

Wood Elves are not the most interesting of models and not what I'd recommend for starter models, but i must say you certainly have done well, I second Ondoher, they're better than my first models too.
