Getting back into the swing of things, starting this journey with a door, a Hobbit door..this is a cast, have some tweaking to do. Mainly remolding to fix the window. And there will be different versions made. Going to do a single hinge next.
Cheers!

Thats awesome dude. But It's too small for a hobbit to fit through...

If you put it on their base it seems tall enough. Ill take better pictures later. If you guys think it still needs to be bigger I will comply.

Edited the first post. I'm thinking its tall enough, but not big enough or grand like Bag Ends. New door will be as tall as the stone frame.

Couple things I've been working on, these were junkers I picked up second hand, started hacking into them pretty quick. The Balrog has lots left to sculpt, going for the shadow style no membrane wings. The Dragon is based off the movie Reign of Fire. It was a Lizardmen Carnosaur

Great conversions matey! I really like the changes you have made to the Balrog, and the lovely basing you have done to blend it into the rocks he is walking on.

The dragon is pretty awesome too, I';m intrigued how you are going to blend them seamlessly! It would be easier with the LOTR dragon and Carnosaur as they are both Trish Carden sculpts!!! :)

Thanks guys! Struggling with how to finish the wings on the Rog' Im probably just going to sculpt the skeleton of the wings and leave it membrane-less there's no realistic way to model the smoking wings.
New stuff, Witchking with new head, and Twilight Wraith new head. I'm thinking of doing the same with more Twilight wraiths I like the details those sculpts offer.

Something I made for a TLA competition, in 2011 but my computer died before I could enter it. Just found a shadowbox for this so I'll be adding a bigger base and finishing the tree.
I have the work in progress pictures too if anyone wants to see that.

Thanks!

Tonights work includes a new banner, near finished for my Warg Rider(old one was paper) a conversion of a Cave Troll, he'll have a hammer, and my Goblin King for the January challenge. I wanted the "oh no that's Orcrist!!!" Moment captured.

Lovely work, the positioning of the goblin king is much better than GWs version.

Thank you sir!

Progress update: I only need to re-sculpt the nails on his hand and I'm done, I think.

Some nice things you've got here. I particularly like seeing the Balrog and Troll in different poses, brings new life to them. Nice to see the diorama painted too, I remember when you were making it, thought the fox was a great addition. good stuff.
