Love these guys, Mordor Uruks are so awesome. I thought I'd reached my max for them with 16; you may have inspired me to get a stack more :P

Well at the weekend I managed to pursued my son to try EfGT... so far so good. He loved the scenery so much we are going to do a EfGT board that can double as a MoM....

Here's my attempt at the planks:

Yes I drew the wood grain on to every coffee stirrer!

Are they the coffee stirrers from McDonalds? They certainly look a good fit. I know because I walked out with a jacket full last week lol.

Erm... no! Lol, close - Subway! Its the least they could do for all the subs I have bought... every time we eat I get the kids to grab a handful of stirrers...

Well a sub for a fiver is cheaper than the 35 quid gw charge for the goblin town add on. And it stops your belly rumbling too! Win win!

I got a 100cmx10cm : 2mm Balsa Wood Plank for 2 euros but nothing beats the adrenaline rush of the rogue action you and UKFreddy did haha  8)

Scenery's looking very good so far!
Btw on the wooden grain stuff you can use this: Image
A brush with metal "hair".

Keep it up!

Thanks for the tips, I have cut some styrofoam to represent cave walls, just need to texture and paint... Then my EfGT scenery is done.

I have started building the west gate, just need to do some research into huge dwarves doors :-)

Well, I have started my Arnor army - based and undercoated, but thought I would take the opportunity to update my finished Cirith Ungol army (the Mordor Uruk Hai were listed in WIP above).

I hope enjoy!
