Just to clear something up for me...
Theres kinda two questions in one topic here.
1) throwing spears axes knives etc are thrown in the move phase not the shoot phase, Correct?

2)If the said weapon is thrown, can you then use it again or is it a one time use?

1. Both. In the move phase they can move to an enemy fire and if it does kill he can move onto another target, if it doesn't kill then you have to charge the model.

2. Its infinite ammo

1) can be used in both it's used in the move phase when charging a foe, you move to within an inch away and then throw the weapon. If it hits and kills your target you can charge another opponent, as long as you have enough movement left. If it fails to kill you have to charge the original foe. In the shoot phase it's used as any normal projectile weapon (even if you've moved more than half your max movement.

2) unlimited use as I recall.

Any model with spears can do this? or does it have to say throwing spear in profile?

It has to specifically say "throwing" for it to be a throwing weapon in wargear but sometimes it may appear under a characters special rules. Either way unless it is referred to as a throwing weapon (points, rules, shoot value, etc...) it can't be thrown.

Nope. Spears are entirely different from throwing weapons.
