The hobbit FAQ state

Can someone tell me which profiles from the hobbit rulebook has changed from the 5 sourcebook?

None of them should have changed, unless you count Balin (which is technically just a separate profile for the same character - like Boromir of Gondor vs Boromir of the White Tower.) The only reprints I know of are Bilbo, Gandalf, Good Saruman, Radagast, Elrond, Gwaihir and the Great Eagle. As far as I know they are identical to the profiles in the source books.

Somebody mentioned that points values had gone up or down by a very small amount for certain characters to better balance the game. I'm not about to go through comparing it all but probably a safe but to use the newer stats when building armies just to make sure you're legal.

just wondering if there have been any profile releases in any issues of White Dwarf since the Hobbit came out? I haven't got the rulebook but wondered if I could get any of the profiles for the White council, thorin's company etc. in a legal way without splashing out too much money!

I think the sourcebook wont be out till December with the release of the second film!

Yeah, I believe Balin went down 10 points, and I'm not sure what else.
