Cool. I'm interested to see how you tackle the waterfall on the right hand side.

im really sorry to have kept you guys waiting.
in the previous weeks I didn't jave a lot of spare time so I only had baby steps of progress, not worth mentioning on the forums. as I saw all the progress happening slowly I forgot that for you there was made some progress. a its a vacation now in holland I will have a lot more spare time.
some pics of all the progress will be up any time soon.

@ ukfreddybear
im sorry but the waterfall will not be in the project, maybe if I make a extention it will be one with a waterfall.

hope you forgive me for not keeping the topic up to date,
martijn

Don't worry - it's hard to work on terrain in limited time.
It's looking great so far!

It's 100% Dwarvish, great job so far. It also redolent of Dwarven architecture in WoW. What are the dimensions of the base?

I agree with Sid. though, is that an eye on the top of the head? If so.. it's a bit too high I'd say.. Bigger photos would be nice too :)

and last one brave (or foolish) dwarf facing the dragon

maybe I will add some more muscles to the upper front arms.
And I will trim something of the bottom of the rock to make it fit better with the wooden base.

c&c are welcome as always

hey all,

I have started a new project(thats one of my weaker points, I tend to not finish my terrain pieces) sculpting a werewolf for a friend who is playing vampire counts.

here are some pics of the mine/ village having a dark grey undercoat an a lighter overbrush, also the gate had his paintjob done.
Image
Image
Image
as last here is the dragon who had its first colors. personally I think het is too playfull and I will make him more greyish with drybrushes and washes, do you guys think the same?

thats it for this update hope more soon

That's a big, scary and intimidating dragon. At least the Dwarves are safe for he cannot fit through their doorways :-D . On the other hand he can demolish them... Is it possible to upload larger pictures of the Dwarven stronghold?

Hey man, I like the way your dragon turned out, you did it justice, also it gives me insight as to what the new fell beast-dragon looks like.
Great fell dragon man, your scenery is looking really nice too.

after some time not being busy with lotr i thought it was time to get back and revive this topic. to begin i did some more work on the mine. I made some scaffolding with wood to give it a look like it is still being dug out.
pics will be up soon.
some other thing i did was design a new part of the village in minecraft, this one will have no under construction parts and will have 4 houses.
