Hey guys,

I was making a rohan army list when I noticed that some of the special rules on the gw site were different from the special rules in the sourcebook :/

Does anyone know which one is correct?

For example; there are more 'special rules' mentioned for Eorl the Young on the GW site than are listed in the sourcebook...

I'm sure there's a logical explanation for this? :D

Sourcebook outdated perhaps? Or the other way around.

Any chance those rules are meant to be used in War of the Ring instead of the Strategy Battle Game?

maybe the other rules are for the War of the ring. that is the most likely cause. But the sourcebook is correct and use all profiles in there.

Probably wotr profiles on website, not sbg

Don't worry anyway, the sourcebooks are ways right unless something is said to have been changed in a FAQ

The easiest way to tell is to look at the stat line if there is an R that's for resistance which is WOTR if there's a W it's wounds which is LOTR/Hobbit SBG, heros also only have might in WOTR. (There are of course many other differences those are just two that are easy to spot every time)

As said, probably for War of the Ring.

Regardless, never go with what the product-buying page tells you. The sourcebook takes precedence, with an FAQ/errata overriding what's in there.
