Welcome then! :)
My first tip would be, to maybe upload bigger photos, if thats possible for you.
What I see doesnt look bad, but I see very little, because the photos are so terribly small...

The rocks look fantastic, and for a beginner the elves are quite nice too! :)
I'd try a wash over the armour for more contrast maybe.

Those rocks look great! The attachment feature is a little cumbersome, if you like - upload it to image shack or any other place and then copy the DIRECT link into these two tags "" its what I do an makes the images so much bigger :) Good work from what I can see though! Welcome to the community.

The bark looks good! A few polished stones from the Dollar Store and some Reindeer moss added to your bark rocks will be a good start toward some nice portable terrain.

The reindeer Moss would indeed be a nice add on. What do you mean with those stones?
Is that some sort of marble? Greetings

I was referring to polished jasper and colored agate stones that are sold to add to potted plants as decorations. You can get a nice size bag for a dollar. Garden centers and DIYS stores also sell pumas and pea gravel in lots of colors. The bags are too large unless you are going to use them for landscaping.Craft stores also sell the polished rocks. They have some very exotic stones. The Dollar store stones are cheaper and a little more ordinary.
I use pea gavel sizes as difficult ground markers.

I used the Dollar store stones when I was working on the Watchers Pool. The small plastic box was more expensive than the stones. The pea gravel is in a plastic peanut butter jar. You can use local stone too. I am lucky that I can gather my own pine bark and moss. The local stones are rather dull.
