Greetings, everyone.

After some time away from the hobby due to other obligations, I have gotten the bug again, and have decided to tackle a new project. I have found a gaming partner and introduced him to the game through Battle Companies, and he has taken a liking to Elves. So, we have decided to tackle the Fall of the Necromancer campaign. We are gaming with my collection of minis and terrain, so I will be purchasing and painting up the participants of each scenario as we go as well as building any necessary terrain pieces. We are not on a timetable so there may be weeks or even months between scenarios as I get things together, but that is our current goal.

Thus, I am beginning to put together the forces for the first scenario, "Dol Guldur Awakens." I have six Wood Elves on my painting table and will be placing an order this weekend to get the remaining models that I need, namely, Thranduil, a blister of Sentinels and a blister of Giant Spiders. I will be posting pictures in this thread as I get the minis painted and will also do battle reports once we get started. I have considered playing each scenario twice, so that we each have a chance to play both sides.

Here are the Wood Elves that I am working on. Decided to do a fall theme for the Wood Elves. The under-tunics and tunics, leather, etc. will remain the same across the force, but there will be four different cloak colors (red, orange, yellow, and dark green). These are the red ones, obviously. This is half of what I will need for the first scenario.

Sorry for the crappy pic, but I snapped it with my phone.

Great scheme for your elves. I'm looking forward to following your project.
