Hi peeps, Well Iv decided to finally start on making some mounted rangers of the north.

Heres a pic of my first effort.
excuse the paintjob am a little out of practice and will probably touch it up at a later date.

Ive used an old faramir rnager model witha spare head I liked the pose of, all thats left to do really is put a bow on his back.
The head had a dodgy hat on so I removed it and used GS for the hair, kinda styled it on Jamie (Newbie) lol

Looks good! I would like to see something to make the horses a little different (small pennants or something), but its up to you :)

Cheers guys, I like the idea of adding to the horse, for some reason that never crossed my mind. Maybe a rolled up blanket and some pouches would look cool.

If you are looking for more variety and feel the sculpting skills are up to it, you could try some of Ebob's horses as mounts, adding to the variety of poses. They should be compatible with the GW riders.
