Came across this quite impressive Hobbit Lego stopmotion film on Facebook, made by a guy called Petar Ramljak. Its well worth a watch.

Impressive! I can imagine the furstrations it took to create that. Stop motion always takes forever.

That's pretty awesome actually.

My kids are all major Lego fans (though we just can't afford to buy many of the Star Wars / LotR license lines due to the outrageous premiums...) and have been learning Scratch at school. I will have to show them this for inspiration.

That is actually very well done - from memory (and I have watched AUJ 3 times in the past month alone) - the choreography is pretty near what the film showed.
Now, who's going to try that with the GW minis? :)
