I had an idea for this and thought it would be a fun 500 point army

Warband 1:
Gothmog with shield
12 Morannon Orcs with 6 shields 6 spears

Warband 2:
Taskmaster
8 orcs with 4 shields 4 spears
4 Orc Trackers

Warband 3:
Sharku with Warg and shield
6 Warg Riders with 6 shields

Also to make it 700 points i could use this:

Warband 1:
Gothmog with shield and Warg
12 Morannon Orcs with 6 shields 6 spears

Warband 2:
Taskmaster
8 orcs with 4 shields 4 spears


Warband 3:
Sharku with Warg and shield
6 Warg Riders with 6 shields 4 throwing spears

Warband 4:
Troll Chieftan
5 Black Guard

Change the Orc to 4 shield and 4 spears, don't use 2-handers on Orcs, ever.

Also give Sharku a shield, and give all the Warg Riders shields, drop the bows on them.

Apart from that, go for it, simple enough to be effective.

Looks good, but isn't Sharku Isengard? Maybe take Gothmog on warg and have maybe gorbag lead the orcs on foot. I'm assuming you want named heroes and not generic captains.

yeah sharku is isenguard but i want gothmog to work with the taskmaster for the hopefully free heroics which is the main aspect of it

Used a list with a similar idea yesterday funnily enough.

6 Orcs with spear

Ugluk
6 Orcs with Shield

Orc Captain
4 Orcs with Bow
4 Orcs with spear and bow

Sharku
6 Warg riders with shield

The extra might comes in massively useful. Gothmogs expensive at this points level but against an all hero army would be infuriating. nI echo the point about taking the bows off the warg riders, it just doesnt do enough sadly.

I would have extra black guard and drop all the trackers. Also give gothmog a warg, 4 attacks on the charge is very nice.

I just added it all up and it is exactly 700 so in order to add i have to drop

so what would you suggest i drop to get that? 2 Morranons and the trackers for what you said?

Looks good. Drop the 4 trackers in the taskmasters warband and add in more morannons. 4 trackers won't do anything in game.
