Nope they don't have -1 penalty. But they can't have shields.

They do not get the plus one, as a pike isn't considered a two handed weapon.

Very disturbing, but not all together surprising as generally the staff are there because of their keenness to play Warhammer.

12 years on a load of forums and I still have yet to see a post where GW staff get a LOTR question right

Liverpool GW are good for questions...well so far atleast.

It depends on the store. The store in Bedford was always fantastic mainly due to the guy there; he always "got" SBG, and was able to clearly see it's differences to Warhammer, like the scenario focus and theme being more important. Sometimes it's hard for Warhammer players to like SBG since warhammer is more tourney focused.
