Hi all - I guess I'm now officially hooked...Made my first purchase ever last week (Elves), and now I've already made my 2nd purchase as I bought a box of Warriors of the Last Alliance this morning at a local store. I'm very excited as the box came with 16 High Elves and 8 Men of Numenor (as opposed to the 8 & 4 that's listed for that set on GW)

My question is - what to do with the 8 Men of Numenor with sword and shield ? Can't see myself ever buying Elendil, Isildur, etc...so what could I do with these guys ? Make them Warriors of Minis Tirith ? Paint them as Black Numenorians ? Or most ideally, could I just paint them as my preferred army (Elves) or is that too cheesy ?

Any thoughts ?

Paint them as Numenor and use them as allies. I would suggest converting them into spearmen as support!

Make them Warriors of the dead or specters.

Since they have the classic Numenorean armour, you could tweak them slightly and use them as Guards of the Citadel.

I took their shields and put them on my Fountain Guard for Gondor. FC need shields to get their full potential, and they look great.
