Rohan is totally broken, reavers and shades at least gives opponents a chance ;)

Wait out for the Best Event Ever review...

@Dr Grant - Reckon another Captain is well worth it. Sure, Shaman gives fury but you're not rolling a ton of dice to get that 1 out of 3 deaths save. Reckon the extra f5 plus the str5 and might will be more useful against what you're likely to face.

True enough but Fury's also good in the dying stages at keeping those last few guys around. It's really tough, hoping to play some practice games with Tom H next week to make a final decision.

You any closer to deciding?

Damian have you considered Sharku instead of another captain? Having a mounted hero could really help you out - especially given the fact this is a 'cheese fest' and there could be alot of hero armies whose charge bonuses could be neatly negated by a cavalry hero..

well as for at 350pts for some fun I would drop this

Warband 1
The Witch King of Angmar (3/11/2) on horse
3 warg riders with shield

Warband 2
Ringwraith (2/9/1) on horse
2 warg riders with shield

warband 3
Ringwraith (2/8/1) on horse

total: 350

what you think?

Would be fun to get the witch king with morgul crown though, few peeps expect a ringwraith in melee to dish 3A(4A on horse)

Of course all cavalry armies will be slightly hindered in the final round with the arrival of a wizard on foot... :)

Whilst I was planning an Angmar list I sadly didn't have time for any painting so will be sticking to what I have painted already, namely Wood Elves and/or Dwarves or possibly mounted hero/monsters...

Hmmm....

Got to love a good cavalry army :)

Played the Spawn of Ungoliant scenario for the first time yesterday, very interesting! Advise everyone to give it a good go :)
