It's definately encouraging that they've exceeded expectations. Hopefully this upturn might encourage GW to look again at the Laketown terrain and other goodies that were rumored to be in limbo. Hopefully this also bodes well for more plastic for TABA.

The scenario in the Desolation of Smaug book requires 36 Gundabad Orcs.
And GW allocates 1 pack of each (spear and sword) per store.
Brilliant! O.o

Found a source for Gundabads in the States at 20% off retail! :rofl:
Should be here by Tuesday. :twisted:
Now I'll have the two full warbands like I wanted. Yay!

So strange that these models are still gone. Gone from the White Dwarf Daily article of the release also. There is something afoot here. the only hint of them is in the film they had of the releases.
I had decided I would get them and am ready to drop $ for 15 blisters and they are still not there. Perhaps it is a good thing for me, but I still think that they should have something on the site... even a blurb about out of stock but still the pictures would be good.

No pictures doesn't say out of stock, it says we don't plan to stock or sell these. :shock:
Next film I guess, perhaps they will release them then.

Well they're available on the British website as of right now so its probably just a technical glitch on the websites or a temporary issue with the supply chain.

No need to freak out.

Thanks to a fellow Ringer, I was able to secure 15 blisters and save some money. So GW can take their time working on the site as I will be all set for a while. :D

so I called my local retailer and he just received the swordsmen, spearmen and the captain. I had him set them aside so I can pick them up tomorrow
